BEFORE SENDING YOUR PHOTOS, PLEASE READ THIS...

To avoid unecessary delays and ensure the highest quality print, you MUST read ALL of this page and complete each of the steps required before sending your photos. Your photos will not be accepted until you have completed the following steps. A link to this page is included in your order confirmation email, to return here when you are ready to send your photos.

For each ORIGINAL photo, Check Photo Size, Photo Quality, and Photo Fit below. If your photo(s) meet our photo submission requirements, please email them to the email address listed at the end of this page.

We do realize that not all photos are going to look like the far left photo. We just want to make sure that you recognize blurriness and graininess as shown in the two right photos below. We cannot fix either blurriness or graininess.

Often times, customers send photos that cannot possibly fit (even if cropped) into a photo area in a design. Think about the shape of the photo area orientations (vertical or horizontal) when selecting photos for each area.

This design would work best with a horizontal photo in which the baby is laying side to side, leaving room to crop for the text area on top.

We made this photo fit by rotating it, and got lucky that the customer was happy with the photo rotated. But best to stay with the orientation of the photo area.

Here is another fit issue we run into all the time. Notice the photo on the right (submitted by the customer) is horizontal. But the customer is asking it to be placed in the far left photo area of the design, which is vertical. There is no way to successfully crop this particular horizontal photo to fit in the vertical space specified. We could rotate it, which would look silly because it is obvious they are laying down.

Sometimes you can get a vertical crop from a horizontal photo that would work for a shape similar to the far left photo area of the design. For example, the photo on the right is a horizontal photo, but notice the baby is very vertical from head to chin, and could therefore be cropped vertically to fit the far left photo area of this design. This is often true with cropping a vertical photo horizontally to work in a horizontal photo area of a design.

EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING PHOTOS

Once you've found that your photo(s) meet our photo submission requirements, please email them to photos@instylecards.com with the baby's full name (and last name on the order, if different from baby's last name) in the subject line of the email.

In the body of the email, please remember to include the following:

• The name of each file, and the dimensions given above for each respective file (MUST be included in email)
• File name of main larger photo, if ordering a collage design
• Any other photo placement preferences, if ordering a collage design

IMPORTANT:Please send the email to yourself also using the cc: or bcc: line, so that you can verify that the photos were or were not shrunk by your email program.
